StudioTAGS is a new collaborative effort combining education and journalism.
Our mission is to create a body of on-demand video tutorials and demonstrations that are easily accessible through cellphones and tablet computers that can scan and interpret 2D barcode technologies. This method of distribution will provide instant access to critical information to Jewelry and Metal Arts students at California State University, Long Beach (and potentially beyond).
With an ever increasing number of smartphones and tablets running on 3G or faster networks on a campus blanketed with WI-FI, it only makes sense to put these sophisticated machines to use creating an individualized learning experience!
